Mia made up the lyric of Be My Friend on the spot and her words speak directly to children about one of the most important aspects of their lives; their friends. It is not a lyric I can imagine an adult coming up with.

- weePop began when I recorded my friend Mia making up songs when she was five, then added music later and copied them onto a CD for her sixth birthday. The same thing was done with my niece Rosie a few years later. When I worked as a cook in a day nursey I noticed that a lot of the music that the children listened to had generic pre programmed rhythms and tinny keyboard sounds and I think that kids music should be recorded with as much care as the stuff for adults.
